Where and when is the first retreat?

The current sample is a three-day, two-night nature and camping retreat in Chiang Mai. The venue, partners and dates will be confirmed before booking opens.

Do I have to give up my phone?

Yes—the shared phone-free commitment is what makes the experience work. You keep your device for the flight and immigration, then hand it over after the safety briefing at the retreat. It remains secured and can be returned if you leave the programme.

What will the package include?

We are confirming the price and inclusions for the sample camping programme. The outline includes two nights at camp, local transfers, meals and the listed experiences. Final details will be provided before booking; international flights, travel insurance and personal spending are separate.

What is the accommodation like?

The sample uses tents at an elephant sanctuary. Tent capacity, bedding, bathrooms, electricity and accessibility are still to be confirmed. We will share those details so you can decide whether the stay suits you.

What if someone at home needs me?

They will receive a dedicated organiser number before the trip. We stay reachable around the clock and will bring genuine emergencies directly to you.

Can I attend on my own?

Absolutely. The retreat is intentionally small and hosted, so solo guests can feel included without being pressured to socialise constantly.

Is this therapy or treatment for burnout?

No. Human Mode is a travel and wellbeing experience, not medical or mental-health treatment. Guests should seek qualified professional support when needed.
